This is not crocheted with stitches π
Itβs a hand-made yarn loop flower with pearls, often used for appliquΓ©s, accessories, or decorations.
Below is a clear step-by-step tutorial to make exactly this flower.
MATERIALS (VERY IMPORTANT)
- Yarn
- Soft yarn (milk cotton / acrylic / velvet yarn)
- Not too thick, not too thin
- Color: white (or any color you like)
- Pearls
- 1 big pearl (8β10 mm) β flower center
- 18 small pearls (4β5 mm) β 3 pearls Γ 6 petals
- Needle
- Thin needle that can pass through small pearls
- Thread
- Strong sewing thread or nylon thread (transparent is best)
- Scissors
- Glue or lighter (optional, for securing knots)

SIZE GUIDE
- Finished flower: 6β7 cm
- Petals: 6
- Each petal loop length: about 3β3.5 cm
STEP 1: CUT & PREPARE YARN
- Cut one long yarn about 60 cm
- Fold it in half to find the center
- This long yarn will make all 6 petals
π Do NOT cut separate pieces for each petal.
STEP 2: MAKE THE FIRST PETAL LOOP
- Hold yarn about 3 cm from the center
- Bend yarn to make a loop
- Pinch the base of the loop with fingers
- Twist the loop one time so it stays rounded
π The twist helps the petal keep its shape.

STEP 3: MAKE ALL 6 PETALS
Repeat this carefully:
- Measure the same length as the first loop
- Make another loop
- Pinch and twist at the base
- Keep holding all loops together
β Make 6 equal loops
β Arrange them in a circle like a flower
π Take your time here β even loops = beautiful flower.
STEP 4: TIE THE FLOWER BASE
- Bring yarn ends to the back
- Tie 2 tight knots
- Adjust petals so they spread evenly
Now you should see:
- A round flower
- 6 soft yarn loops

STEP 5: SEW THE PETALS (VERY IMPORTANT)
This step makes the flower strong and neat.
- Thread needle with strong thread
- Insert needle from the back of the flower
- Sew through the base of one petal
- Go through the base of the next petal
- Continue sewing around all 6 petals
- Pull thread tight
- Knot firmly at the back
π This locks the shape forever.
STEP 6: ADD THE CENTER PEARL
- Bring needle up through the center front
- Insert 1 large pearl
- Push needle back down through center
- Sew back up and down 2β3 times
- Pull tight
- Knot securely at the back
π The pearl should sit firmly, not loose.
STEP 7: ADD PEARLS TO PETAL TIPS (VERY DETAILED)
Each petal has 3 small pearls.
For ONE petal:
- Bring needle out near the tip of the loop
- Thread 3 small pearls
- Lay pearls along the outer edge
- Insert needle back close to where it came out
- Pull tight so pearls sit together
π Pearls must sit:
- Outside the loop
- Not inside the petal
Repeat for all 6 petals.
Total pearls used here = 18

STEP 8: FINAL FIXING
- Check all pearls are tight
- Add a tiny drop of glue on knots (optional)
- Cut extra thread
- Shape petals gently with fingers
COMMON MISTAKES & TIPS
β Loops uneven β measure carefully
β Pearl loose β sew twice
β Flower twisting β sew petal bases tighter
