Step-by-step to make Crochet Stitch

this one’s a long loop / fringe crochet stitch 🌈✨
It’s super decorative and easier than it looks. I’ll explain it step by step so you can copy it exactly.

MATERIALS (important details)

• Yarn: Medium weight (worsted / 4). Cotton or acrylic is best.
• Hook: 4–5 mm
• Optional tool:
  • Ruler / knitting needle / chopstick (for equal loop length)

STEP 1: FOUNDATION

1. Make a slip knot
2. Chain any number (example: ch 20)
3. Add 1 extra chain (turning chain)

STEP 2: BASE ROW (VERY IMPORTANT)

This row holds the loops.

1. Insert hook into 2nd chain from hook
2. Yarn over, pull through
3. Yarn over, pull through both loops

4. Continue sc in every chain

STEP 3: MAKING THE LONG LOOP STITCH (MAIN PART)

For EACH stitch, do this:
